Social Mission:
We salvage from scrap yards disposed car parts which are hidden treasures made of precision metals. Using our creativity and the craftsmanship of marginalized local workers, ATB transforms these discarded parts into pieces of high-quality and inspiring art. This is our way of protecting the environment, as well as showing recognition and respect for the city’s expert craftspersons who have honed their skills for a lifetime, but are now working in sunset industries. Their contribution to Hong Kong’s prosperity is now etched into our artistic creations.
Business Model
ATB products are made from discarded vehicle parts dumped as scrap metal destined to be destroyed. Recognizing the beauty in these components, we salvage them, restore them, re-conceptualize their functionality, and craft them into usable, artistic and inspiring furniture and accessories.
Chic and stylish, each item comes with our Certificate of Authenticity, and is guaranteed to be an original and unique art piece.
Every ATB creation is an accumulation of inspiration, practicality and artistic form, giving a new perspective to things easily ignored. These include:
- Art Furniture & Lamps
- Home Accessories
- Trophies & Souvenirs
- Product Rental
- Custom-made Art Pieces or Solutions
- Upcycling creativity workshop
ATB is also keen to support non-profit organizations and schools to educate people in Hong Kong about the possibilities and potential of upcycling in everyday life. We actively participate in seminars, workshops, exhibitions and media interviews to share our social mission, inspiring the public to pay more attention to the treasures hidden in such discarded materials. We believe that with creativity, these materials can be upcycled into artistic items of much higher value, and in turn these creations should help to raise people’s quality of living. We give this process the name “art-cycling” – the transformation of hidden art into new and redefined art.
